AnnArbor
AnnArbor is a gentrified college town. All the cool folks recently moved to Ypsilanti. It took me about two weeks to figure this out. Being gentrified means property values are high, and so is the cost of eating out. Nevertheless, with a little effort it's possible to find a FiveDollarMeal.
:The cool folks moved to Ypsi a long time ago! Nevertheless, there are definately CoolPlaces in Ann Arbor. And there are some ThriftStores in the area (Ypsi!)
Note that Ann Arbor was (and is) home to the first BordersBookstore and Dominos Pizza.
