UPSIDE DOWN CAKE

In 8" square pan layer:

  • 1/4 cup melted butter (or margarine)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (white will work but not taste as yummy)

  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

  • sliced pineapple rings (or berries, or thin sliced apples or pears)

Then whip up the DinetteCake and pour over the fruit and all. Bake about the same time. Put a plate on top of the pan when it comes out of the oven and flip it over while the cake is still hot. It should all fall onto the plate. (If some of the fruit/sugar sticks to the pan just scrape it out and dribble on the cake). Good with whipped cream.
