KFC Cole Slaw

  • 8 cups cabbage

  • 1/4 cup carrot

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • 1/2 cup mayo

  • 1/4 cup buttermilk (substitute: milk with dash of vinegar)

  • 1-1/2 tablespoons white vinegar

  • 2-1/2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)

Cover and refrigerate 2-1/2 hours before serving.
