Lyrics: Like Mice Love Rice
Artist: Yang Chengang; Edition: Like Mice Love Rice

When I hear your voice
I get a special kind of feeling,
It makes me continually think that I don't dare forget you again.
I'll always remember that there's a person
Who will stay in my heart forever,
Even if I can only long for you this way.
But if there really comes a day
When this love becomes a reality,
I will redouble my efforts to be true to you.
No matter how long the road
I will surely make this love come true.
I'll lean close to your ear, and gently say to you,
"I love you, I'm loving you
Just like mice love rice.
No matter how many difficulties may come, I will still accompany you.
I miss you, I'm missing you,
No matter how bitter the way
I'm willing to do anything to make you happy.
That's the way I'll love you."

And it repeats a significant portion again.

An anonymous poster changed the translation of "不管有多少风雨我都会依然陪着你" from my original "No matter the weather, I will still accompany you" to "No matter how many difficulties may come, I will still accompany you." I like my version better. —MicahSittig

-

I think its "No matter what the weather"... -switangel

it should be 'no matter what difficulties there might be' instead of 'weather'..weather's too literal a translation.
tris

I think it's "No matter what the weather" as in English that phrase basically means 'no matter what difficulties there might be', so I'd say it's perfectly acceptable.

nah it should be " no matter how much wind rain lol.
its got 多少风雨 so i dont think its how much weather。it should b difficulties.

-Sorry to barge in like a steamboat or something. I thought this line was 我会*轻轻*在你耳边对你说(对你说)and meant I'll be next to your ear to gently say to you (say to you). Didn't want to change it without approval. - ghost_innocence

-Actually, that sounds very reasonable. I'll add it in, thanks! —MicahSittig

Hey, just a suggestion. Shouldn't the english translation of "我想你,想着你" be "I think of you, thinking of you"? The chinese word for miss is "想念" and the song only says "想". Thanks.
-singingiant

-When 想 is used before a person's name, it means "to miss". At least, in my experience. —MicahSittig

Alternative versions

I get a special feeling,
It reminds me never to forget you again.
I'll always remember that there's a someone
Who will stay in my heart forever,
Even if this is the only way I can long for you.
But if there really comes a day
When this love becomes a reality,
I will redouble my efforts to be true to you.
No matter how far the journey
I will surely make this love come true.
I'll lean close to your ear, and gently whisper to you,
"I love you, I'm loving you
Just like mice love rice.
No matter how many difficulties may come, I will still accompany you.
I miss you, I'm missing you,
No matter how harsh the way
I'm willing to do anything to make you happy.
That's the way I'll love you."
