I'd highly recommend the 'Jinjiang Shanghai Tour bus' that leaves every 30 minutes from the Jinjiang Hotel on Maoming Nanlu, close to Hua Hai Road metro stn. A one day ticket was 18 yuan in 2002 - it may be 25-30 yuan by 2005. Still great value. (5 or 6 yuan = $1 Aus). It stops at a number of key tourist destinations like the Oriental Pudong Pearl tower (entry ticket was 50 yuan), Peoples Square, The Bund, the Nanpu Bridge etc. The ticket has a timetable in English provided, & you can use the same ticket to get on & off all day & spend as much time at a particular tourist site as you want. The last bus was about 6pm. Just check the timetable given to you. Enjoy!
